To process payments from Brazil, we had to update our checkout system in order to be able to collect the CPF number. Cadastro de Pessoas FĂsicas (CPF; Portuguese for "Natural Persons Register") is the Brazilian individual taxpayer registry identification.
Due to the partnership we forged with PrimeiroPay, a unique payment service provider in Brazil, we were able to make this happen.
